Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong expertise in API development, integration patterns, and middleware technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, SQL, C#, and PHP (for web development).
- Experience with Oracle OICS, ODI, and Nifi for integration solutions.
- Knowledge of database management systems and data integration tools.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of security and compliance standards in integration practices.
- Experience working within the grocery retail industry is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of software developers, integration engineers, and technical specialists.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the development and integration of enterprise applications and third-party solutions within Oracle OICS, ODI, and Nifi environments.
- Architect and implement scalable integration solutions using APIs, middleware, and cloud-based platforms.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to developers of varying skill levels.
- Ensure best practices in software development, including code quality, security, and performance optimization.
- Manage development projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, particularly in the grocery retail sector, to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies, trends, and integration methodologies.
- Oversee system documentation, version control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with IT, product management, and other departments to ensure seamless system interoperability.
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues and provide hands-on problem resolution when necessary.
- Ensure effective integration and optimization of Oracle RMFCS and Oracle Fusion applications.
- Support the Senior Enterprise Architect in updating Enterprise Architecture (EA) blueprints and ensuring alignment with strategic IT initiatives.
- Follow best practices for release and deployment governance to ensure smooth software rollouts and minimize operational disruptions.
- Oversee Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes to ensure the effective planning, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with enterprise integration platforms and data pipeline tools.
- Prior experience in managing remote or globally distributed development teams.
- Knowledge of Oracle RMFCS and Oracle Fusion applications and their integration within a grocery retail environment.
