Compensation

Curative AI, Inc.'s salary range for this role is $200,000 to $250,000.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and actively participate in the development of comprehensive SaaS applications utilizing existing cloud service platforms like Databricks, AWS, and Kubernetes to build modern web services. Directly contribute to technical solutions while ensuring the software is scalable, reliable, and fully aligned with business objectives.
  • Define and implement best practices in software development, code quality, and engineering processes. Stay current with emerging technologies, particularly in AI-assisted development, to ensure our engineering practices remain cutting-edge.
  • Build strong relationships with internal customers, partners, and stakeholders. Work closely with Product, Data Science, and other teams to ensure our software solutions meet business requirements. Influence cross-functional initiatives related to software tools, quality, and integration.
  • Guide your team throughout the SDLC. Influence and define the long-term vision, mission, and software strategies. Ensure technical designs are thoroughly evaluated and aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Recruit top talent, provide challenging opportunities, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Actively address performance issues, system deficiencies, technical challenges, and new feature development to ensure the best outcomes for the company.
  • Drive the adoption of continuous integration/deployment and automated testing to reduce lead times and increase deployment frequency while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

  • Currently located in the Seattle Metro Region and able to work hybrid on-site a minimum of three days per week at our Bellevue location.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with 5+ years of people management experience. Must have a proven track record of effectively managing teams to meet objectives and deliver results.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required; Master’s degree desired.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in architecting and building complex SaaS applications on existing cloud platforms. Strong architectural vision with the ability to design robust software systems that leverage existing platforms and cloud services. In-depth knowledge of cloud-based services and modern development tools.
  • Strong experience in building production-level systems, implementing automated testing frameworks, and utilizing modern software delivery practices (CI/CD, DevOps).
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies and their application in software development, including experience integrating large language models and AI-assisted development tools into engineering workflows.
  • Proven ability to influence and deliver high-impact initiatives. Forward-thinking mindset with the ability to define and drive the team's mission, vision, and long-term strategies.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing teams and collaborating effectively across departments.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with keen business intuition and adaptability to new technologies.
  • A passion for quality and a 'Can Do' attitude, balanced with a sense of responsibility to customers and the team.
  • Healthcare experience desired.
