The Role

This is a temporary executive engagement for a CTO-level technologist and strategist with a proven track record of building and deploying AI-driven cybersecurity solutions. You will be responsible for: * Architecting an AI-driven cybersecurity platform: Designing and implementing the core technology that will anchor our product portfolio. * Rapidly mobilizing and managing a global team: Leading onshore and offshore development teams to build and deploy systems on a near 24/7 cycle. * Creating production-ready IP: Developing scalable, recurring revenue-generating products. * Laying the groundwork for our cornerstone product portfolio: Driving the technical vision and execution to achieve market readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of AI-powered threat detection and autonomous response systems.
• Architect predictive intelligence engines aggregating global cyber threat data.
• Develop behavioral analytics for insider threat detection.
• Implement AI-driven vulnerability management and risk scoring.
• Create intelligent phishing detection and education platforms.
• Oversee secure cloud migration and adaptive firewall technologies.
• Build compliance and DLP systems embedded with AI for real-time governance.
• Deliver the following end products:
• AI-Driven Threat Protection: Real-time AI-powered detection, firewalls, and automated response.
• Automated Security & Compliance: Proactive vulnerability, regulatory compliance, and risk management with AI.
• Intelligent Incident & Phishing Defense: Rapid AI-led response to security and phishing threats.
• Data & Cloud Security: Secure, compliant cloud transitions with AI-driven protection.

Qualifications

• Seasoned technologist with prior CTO or Head of Engineering experience.
• Proven track record of building scalable enterprise software, ideally in cybersecurity or AI domains.
• Experience mobilizing and managing distributed or offshore teams.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks, cybersecurity protocols, secure infrastructure, and cloud-native architectures.
• Ability to deliver meaningful progress in weeks, not quarters, under pressure.
• Demonstrated experience building proprietary, AI-powered cybersecurity technology to anchor platform and unlock long-term defensibility.

Compensation Structure

• Equity in IPO-bound Cybersecurity Company.
• Milestone-based cash payments tied to development progress.
• Significant cash and equity bonus at liquidity event (IPO/acquisition).
• No upfront salary.
