Key Responsibilities

• Lead the cloud HPC group, overseeing the design and implementation of HPC infrastructure for large-scale machine learning training and validation.
• Lead the real-time simulation group, overseeing engineering efforts in high-performance, low-level software development, data center software optimization, and parallel computing.
• Lead the big data group, creating an end-to-end data pipeline from ingestion to access, as well as developing and optimizing data models.

Requirements

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and/or big data systems.
• Experience managing large, distributed engineering teams.
• Experience with distributed computing, cloud-native architectures, high-performance computing, and large-scale data processing.
• An appropriate stack would include Python, C++, Kubernetes, Apache Spark, Terraform, Argo Workflows, AWS/GCP/Azure, Kafka, and CI/CD pipelines.

Ideal Candidate

An ideal candidate will provide technical leadership and strategic direction for all three infrastructure domains, manage a multi-million dollar budget efficiently, and conduct code reviews and mentor engineers at a high technical level.
