Responsibilities
- Lead Retail Risk Technology CCAR and CECL technical strategy, architecture and application design; envisioning business purpose, managing risks, process efficiency and user-interface design; Develops deep technical understanding of key systems, processes and interdependencies.
- Design and leverage enterprise tools, processes and functionality to execute key Retail Risk processes and applications in a consistent enterprise framework ensuring effective business controls are established and maintained.
- Identify areas for simplification, automation and technology synergies to reduce operational costs and risks.
- Provides strategic influence and exercise control over resources, budget management and planning while monitoring end results.
- Contributes to driving the workforce strategy, aiming to build fully compliant engineering teams while managing budgets and meeting delivery expectations.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge and interest across big data technologies and have a hands-on background in data engineering.
- Experience of leading development of large and complex software for financial products.
- Experience of strong stakeholder management across business and technology partners globally.
- Experience of strong product and program management.
- Solid understanding of relevant banking regulation and supervisory expectations for large complex financial institutions
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
- Working knowledge of industry practices and standards
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.

Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent experience
