Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the engineering strategy aligned with the company’s overall vision and business objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the engineering team, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee engineering activities by leveraging through others, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with department team members and other stakeholders to assess project requirements and provide technical guidance
  • Drive innovation in engineering practices and methodologies to enhance efficiency and competitiveness
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to leverage best practices in engineering
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and driving a culture of design that facilitates safe execution of construction
  • Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in engineering deliverables
  • Work closely with procurement, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to gather market intelligence and optimize engineering solutions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the engineering team to stay up to date with industry best practices and explore new ways to enhance the company's engineering capabilities.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with focus on Civil, mechanical or electrical engineering, or another industry-related field required.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering within the EPC industry, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.

Preferred Skills/Abilities

  • Proven track record of successfully managing and leading large scale engineering projects
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies. Thorough understanding of project delivery methods, contract terms.
  • Ability to think strategically and drive change within an organization
  • Extensive knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and industry standards
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills.
