Director of Software Engineering
The Role
Reporting to the CTO, the Director of Software Engineering, will lead the software engineering teams at TRG Screen, driving technical excellence and innovation across the organization. This role is responsible for shaping the engineering strategy, optimizing development processes, and fostering a high-performance culture to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions. The Director of Software Engineering will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business goals, ensuring continuous improvement and the successful execution of TRG Screen’s software development roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Implement short and long term strategy for the implementation and execution of brand new technical projects
- Lead the migration of data center hosted products to Azure
- Special focus on quality. Improve automation and productivity
- Crate an infrastructure aiding in the process of increasing productivity across the organization and products
- Work cross functionally, in partnership with other departments across the organization, including Customer Success and Managed Services
- Stay ahead of AI trends and emerging technologies, ensuring TRG Screen remains at the forefront of innovation
Skills and Qualifications
- A seasoned engineering leader with 15+ years of experience, including 7+ years in senior leadership roles.
- Expertise in designing and scaling systems, with a strong background in software development and architecture.
- Hands-on Azure and AWS experience.
- Proven ability to manage large, distributed engineering teams across multiple geographies, including the UK, US, and India.
- Proven track record of delivering secure, compliant, and privacy-focused software solutions.
- Understanding and interest in new AI trends.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, able to work effectively with international leadership teams.
