Software Development Manager, Cross Border Seller Programs

Amazon Cross Border (XB) team allows customers to easily discover a wide selection of international products available from Amazon’s websites around the world, offering simplified customs, faster delivery, local language and payment support, and a world-class customer service. XB team has presence in multiple countries and will continue to stay at the forefront of Amazon’s global expansion strategy. We're looking for an experienced Senior Software Development Manager to join our organization and lead the XB Seller Programs Technology teams.

This role requires a strategic leader who can build and mentor high-performing engineering teams while architecting scalable solutions for global product distribution. The ideal candidate will drive technical excellence in building new services, tools, and frameworks across Amazon's expanding international presence. Your team's innovations will break new ground in the Seller Experience for cross-border commerce, delivering unprecedented selection and value to customers worldwide. You should excel in navigating ambiguous environments, demonstrate strong technical judgment, and effectively collaborate across diverse e-commerce domains.

About the team
AEE Selection Tech team is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer interested in disrupting the way products are made available to customer, sold, and distributed on a global scale. The right candidate will have hands-on involvement in building new tools, services, and distribution structures across Amazon’s growing footprint. The products and capabilities enabled by this role will deliver unprecedented selection and prices across Amazon’s 100MM+ customers, while innovating beyond established cross border norms. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with interactions across a wide variety of e-commerce topics, and will demonstrate competence in multiple fields and skill sets.

 Basic Qualifications: - 7+ years of engineering experience
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
