As a key member of our leadership team, you will drive the technical vision and strategy for building innovative solutions that enable business customers to efficiently research, discover, and purchase business, industrial, and scientific products across vast catalogs. This senior position requires a visionary leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical leadership. Key job responsibilities
- Hire, mentor and lead software development managers.
- Lead design, implementation, and deployment of successful highly distributed, large scale services.
- Play a critical role in the broad business planning, working closely with senior executives to develop business targets and resource requirements.
- Help form long-term technical and business strategy and goals.
- Understand business context to decisions made within and across groups.
- Work closely with the engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach. Be a hands-on technical leader and contributor.
- Maintain a current understanding of industry and technology trends.
- Work with globally distributed team.

Basic Qualifications
- Extensive experience in software engineering
- Significant experience in engineering team management
- Proven experience managing managers
- Substantial experience in planning, designing, developing, and delivering consumer software
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing and developing large scale, high-traffic applications
