As the Director of Engineering, AI Enterprise at Snowflake, you will be leading an AI Engineering team to design and implement cutting-edge AI solutions on the AI Data Cloud. This is a critical leadership role responsible for building and scaling a world-class engineering organization focused on delivering generative AI solutions that drive impact for some of the largest and most sophisticated companies in the world. This role combines technical innovation with practical implementation to drive customer success.
AS DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING, AI ENTERPRISE AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:
- Lead and drive implementation of Snowflake AI solutions, providing expert guidance and translating business needs
- Build and scale a global high-performing team, with an emphasis on initiative ownership and engineering excellence
- Shape the long-term vision and org design of the AI Solutions team, aligned with business growth and product evolution
- Collaborate with research, product, and delivery teams across Snowflake to drive full-stack solutions, from prototyping to enterprise production deployments
- Represent engineering in cross-functional planning cycles, including headcount, budget, and strategic initiatives
- Engage with Fortune 100 customers and the GTM team as primary technical contact for complex AI implementations
- Design and develop advanced AI and ML solutions using Snowflake Cortex and Snowflake ML
- Mentor and develop team members while fostering a high-performance culture
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in AI solutions and methodologies
- Potential travel up 25%
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- B.Sc. in Computer Science
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Engineering Director required
- Proven experience in AI/LLMs and product engineering is a must
- Strong track record of deploying AI solutions to end customers is essential
- Background in enterprise environments is a strong plus
- Has scaled engineering organizations across geographies and understands how to structure and evolve teams effectively
- Has experience partnering deeply with sales, delivery, and customer success teams
- Strong project management and delivery capabilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven track record of technical leadership and mentoring

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:
- The estimated base salary range for this role is $243,000 - $379,500.
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
