As an Engineering Manager at OpenBorder, you’ll lead a team of engineers building the systems that enable e-commerce brands to scale globally. You’ll be responsible for people management, delivery, and technical quality across multiple projects. This role balances technical oversight with team development, and is ideal for someone who’s passionate about building both products and people.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and support a team of engineers through regular feedback and career development
- Drive project delivery and ensure high engineering standards
- Collaborate with product, design, and other teams to prioritize and plan work
- Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making
- Create a culture of accountability, quality, and growth
- Operate across our stack: Java, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, Next.js, Nest.js, AWS, GCP
What We’re Looking For
- Experience managing and scaling high-performing engineering teams
- Strong technical background in backend or full-stack systems
