What You’ll Do:
- Lead and mentor a team of software developers, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and innovation.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle—from planning and design to deployment and optimization.
- Align development strategies with organizational goals and ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
- Evaluate team performance, provide coaching, and support professional development.
- Analyze system performance and infrastructure to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and external vendors.
- Ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices, compliance standards (including SOC II), and software quality benchmarks.
What You Bring:
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with 5+ years in project management and 3–5 years leading technical teams.
- Strong technical background in PHP, JavaScript (React), Git, and relational databases.
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with tools like Jira or Azure DevOps for project tracking and planning.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance standards.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
