The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $118,500-$181,700 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will do in This Role:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Software Engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Strategically coordinate a portfolio of software development projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and successful delivery.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and efficient prioritisation.
  • Establish and monitor team and individual goals, providing feedback and support to ensure success and professional growth.
  • Delegate project tasks strategically to optimize team performance, individual growth, and project outcomes.
  • Track and report on project progress, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Perform frequent performance evaluations, delivering constructive feedback and actionable insights for employee development.
  • Build individualized development plans to foster employee growth, career advancement, and skill improvement.
  • Manage the processing of expense reports, ensuring consistency with company policies and budget requirements.
  • Analyze staff development needs and recommend appropriate training and resources to improve team capabilities.
  • Lead the hiring process, identifying and recruiting dedicated engineers to strengthen the team and contribute to overall success.
  • Onboard and train new engineers, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure a smooth transition and rapid integration into the team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team of software engineers, including performance management and career development.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicate and partner with stakeholders across various teams and departments.
  • Experience managing software project development lifecycles, from inception to deployment.
  • Solid understanding of software development principles and practices.
